As a team manager you play a key role in the success of the team and season. Your main duties are to:

COMMUNICATE! - not only schedules but also expectations and information from and to the coach/es about the season plan. This requires being at many practices and games especially at the beginning to establish rapport and to find out the needs of families, players and coach/es
Help create an atmosphere of cooperation
Recruit volunteers for team and Club needs - delegate! Ask for help! People like to be involved and if you can break down jobs into smaller pieces, families can contribute more easily
Educate yourself and your parents as much as possible - about the Club's philosophy and policies, the game of soccer - rules, strategies, etc. and the roles of all participants
Familiarize yourself with the Blackhawks web site and the MYSA website which contain useful information and forms.
