We are always looking to add youth and adult referees to our roster. Our goal is to provide excellent officiating at each game, while assigning our pool of referees the games that fit their skills and schedule. We offer competitive pay, upgrade bonuses, and mentors to help new referees improve.
New Referee Training, March 15 and March 29, 2008
St. Paul Blackhawks is pleased to announce its 2008 introductory referee course on Saturday March 15 and 29, 2008 at Carnegie Hall on the Macalester College campus. The instructor for this information-packed learning experience will be Blackhawk referee director, Jim Engelking.

Referee Recertification Clinics
You must be USSF-certified in order to referee games for the Blackhawks. The Minnesota State Referee Committee is offering all recertification clinics. Check for clinic schedules on the Minnesota Soccer Referee Committee website.
The SRC is also encouraging all returned officials to register on-line. Please see the SRC website for details.
Receiving Assignments
